Dear Larry

I’m in a bit of a pickle right now because I can’t get my grades up. My mom says it’s partially my fault because I hate studying, but I swear I’ve been studying like a dog lately, especially in math. What I don’t understand is even if I study for hours before the test, I keep failing. What am I supposed to do now if studying doesn’t even work? Please send help, Larry. I desperately need it.

Dear crying student,

Thanks for reaching out. You see, studying can only take you so far. I camped out in your math class the past couple of days (you have a lovely teacher, by the way) to see what was going on, and I noticed you were sleeping…a majority of the time. You complain you never learned how to do logarithms, but you were snoozing to the Weeknd during that lesson. Instead of hitting the hay, I suggest you start hitting the books for real this time.
