On January 3, senior Ryan O’Neill managed to pin a Bergenfield wrestler in just nine seconds. This tied the school record for the quickest pin in Old Tappan history.
To put this feat in perspective, we had track star Abigail Dennis run as far as she could in the span of nine seconds. Dennis ran a total of 81 yards in that span of time.
We also had kicker Nico Ottomanelli drill as many field goals as possible in nine seconds. Ottomanelli was able to make two field goals in nine seconds.
