Tuesday, May 17

The softball team won their first sectional state game against Bergenfield 15-0. Senior Tina Chugranis had two home runs, six RBIs, four hits, and two runs. Senior Raegen Germano also contributed with eleven strikeouts. 

The boys tennis team won its match against Pascack Valley 4-1. Senior Andrew Maier won first singles and sophomore Joseph Hwang won third singles. Sophomore Owen Young and freshman Kiran Gurunathan won their first doubles match while sophomore Noah Kim and junior Derek Liang won their second doubles. 

The boys golf team got third place in the Tournament of Champions. Sophomore Jun Chun shot an 80 and junior Tim Clune shot an 85. 

 

Wednesday, May 18

The baseball team won its game against River Dell 11-3. Senior Louie Mosca had a home run, four RBIs, and five strikeouts. Senior James Keating led with three hits and senior Max Nasjletti had two runs.

The boys tennis team won its match against Northern Highlands 3-2. Hwang won his third singles match, Young and Gurunathan won their first doubles match, and Kim and Liang won second doubles. 

 

Thursday, May 19

The softball team won their quarter-final sectional state game against Northern Highlands 6-4. Senior Isabella Chugranis led with three hits and two runs, while T. Chugranis had two RBIs. Germano had six strikeouts. 

 

Friday, May 20

The baseball team lost its game against Don Bosco Prep 3-2. Mosca had one RBI and Nasjletti had a triple.

 

Saturday, May 21

The baseball team won their quarter-final county game against Dwight-Englewood 6-2. Junior Alex Kranzler had eight strikeouts while junior Elan Ofeck had three RBIs. Senior Faybel Ventura led with two hits and two runs. The softball team lost their semi-final county game against Ramapo 4-3. Germano had ten strikeouts while senior Olivia Cataldo had one run. T. Chugranis had two RBIs and I. Chugranis had two hits.
