According to Junior Setter Kelly Chen, this past couple of weeks were “more difficult” for the volleyball team (12-1); however, they are “working harder during practice.” Julia Passante, who plays Middle, tore her ACL in a match earlier in September. Although it was “a big loss for the team… the rest of the team has been working hard to rise to the challenges,” said Head Coach Melissa Landeck. After losing their first game in the season against Demarest, the girls are making a comeback. “The team has responded well so far,” said Coach Landeck, and are stepping up their game. The volleyball team is looking forward to their next game against Demarest.
