Football

The team brought home the trophy after a 28-14 victory over Hillside in the sectional championship at home on Saturday, November 12. Senior Aidan Heaney had 3 touchdowns while Jack Diggins tallied one other. The team travels to Somerset on Sunday morning in the North Group 3 championship. They’ll take on the defending champions West Morris who knocked the boys out last season. 

Girls Soccer

The girls soccer ended their season at home in a 5-0 loss to West Morris in the North Group championship on Tuesday. 

Cross Country

Kate Meeks placed 26th in state at Holmdel Park. Her time ranked second in NVOT history only to Kristen Johnson’s run last year. Coach Jeff Clark won the Big North Girls Coach of the year while his runners including Johnson, Meeks, Rowan Leddy, and Ariana DeNicola all were awarded first team All-Division. Matt Malora, Odelia Drillich, Alexa Puccio, and Claire Bailey all achieved second team honors.
