NVOT Varsity Winter Cheer completed its regular season on Saturday, February 4 with a win at Westwood High School. The team has earned a record of 8-0 at the Big North Competitions. 

The team began preparing for the winter season in the fall and attended their first mini Competition on January 8 at Woodbridge High School. Since then, the team has attended seven more meets, four of them being Big North Competitions culminating in an undefeated regular season. 

For the team, their values are based on their experiences and bonds that triumphs their overall score. “Regardless of the end outcome, just making it to the playoffs at all and ending the regular season 8-0 is a win in itself,” said senior Angely Valez. 

The team will compete at playoffs Wednesday, February 8 at Westwood High School.
