Class of 2026
On Monday, October 2, the Class of 2026 launched a community service project for the Hope Lodge, a home for cancer patients and caregivers in Pennsylvania. As part of the project, the class is collecting items like scarves, blankets, hats, mittens, gloves, and toiletries until Tuesday, October 31. Students can drop off donations in the media center.
Golden Arts Department
On Saturday, September 30, the Golden Knights Performing Arts Coalition (GKPAC) held a car wash, clothing drive, and bake sale fundraiser to raise money for the theater department, music department, and choir. The money raised from the events will all be used to fund the theater and music department.
Model UN
The Model UN club held its first meeting on Tuesday, September 26 in B102. The meeting was led by club advisor Denise Marinaro who informed members about the club’s plans to begin competing with other schools depending on turnout.
Marching Band
On Saturday, September 30, the marching band competed at Ramsey High School and scored 81 points with their “Cathedral” routine. This marks the band’s first competition in the Open Class—the highest class in the US Bands circuit—since the cancellation of the Saturday Knight Lights competition on September 23. The band will compete at MetLife Stadium Saturday, October 7.
