Golden Arts Department

The All School Musical Production (ASMP) continues to prepare for its upcoming performances of Cats. A parent meeting was held Thursday, January 17.

Guidance Department

On Thursday, January 18, the Guidance Department held its annual Program of Studies Night. The event, which was held virtually from 6.p.m to 7 p.m., informed parents about the course selection process at NVOT and gave parents the opportunity to ask questions.

Math Team

The Math Team competed in three contests last week: the New Jersey Math League on Tuesday, The Association of Mathematics Teachers of New Jersey Test on Wednesday, and the Bergen County Math League on Thursday. Notable scorers include Ryan Jensen with a 6/6.

Portfolio Club

Students in the Portfolio Club are participating in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. They are preparing artwork for submission and written explanations of their pieces ahead of the February 29 deadline.

Student Senate

The Student Senate held its monthly meeting Thursday, January 18 in room F118. Students were able to send in items to put on the agenda for discussion.
