Class of 2024
Last week was “Senior Week” for the Class of 2024. The week’s activities included pajama day, anything but a backpack day, free soft serves from an ice cream truck, and senior switch day, where seniors swapped places with one of their teachers and ran their classes for the day.
English Department
Students in John Housley’s Film/Cinema Studies & Criticism class finalized and submitted their films for judging ahead of the 16th Annual Student Film Festival. The films will be screened at the festival Wednesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
Japanese Club
The Japanese Club hosted an anime watching event Thursday, April 4 in room A210. Members watched Howl’s Moving Castle.
Korean Club
On Wednesday, April 3, the Korean Club hosted its annual talent show in the south cafeteria after school. Sophomore Arin Choi won with her traditional Korean dance.
Music Department
The choir performed in their Spring Choral Concert Thursday, April 4. The concert was free and began at 7:30 p.m.
Wellness Club
On Monday, April 8, Wellness Coordinator Dr. Gina Restivo hosted the weekly Monday game lunch in room E101. Students participated in community building activities such as playing board games, talking with friends, and playing a round of Jackbox with the Jackbox Esports Division.
Winter Guard
The Winter Guard competed at the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) Allentown High School competition Saturday, April 6. The guard earned second place with a score of 78.98.
