Girls Tennis:
On October 7, the girls played at Tenafly and lost 5-0. On October 8th they defeated West Essex at home in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA Tournament with a score of 5-0. On October 9 the girls played another home game against Teaneck and won 6-0. On October 10 they went to Mahwah and played in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA tournament and won 4-1. Freshman Mukilarasi Dharmaraj won her single and junior Lili Setrakian also won her single. Seniors Catalina Guerra and Ashley Kim won 1st doubles. Junior Hyacinth Seo and freshmen Alina Sorokin won 2nd doubles
Girls Soccer:
On Monday the girls played a home game against Pascack Valley and won 4-0. Juniors Mia Colon, Nina Caunedo, Sienna Drullinsky, Isabella Zingarelli, and sophomore Caroline Ognibene all scored goals. On Wednesday the girls played at Westwood and tied 1-1. Junior Isabella Zingarelli scored the goal.
Boys Soccer:
The boys played at Pascack Valley on Monday and won 3-0. Senior Lorenzo Lago scored the three goals. On Tuesday they played a home game against Teaneck and won 6-0. The goals were scored by senior Lorenzo Lago, junior Aidan Mulligan, freshman Adem Ozgen, and freshman Jonathan Rinot.
Cross Country:
On October 9 the Girls Cross Country team won the Big North National League at Darlington Park in Mahwah. The top 7 runners were Emme Fermin, Sophia Katechis, Tina D’andrea, Grey Ingledue, Ariana Kim, Claire Bailey, and Lillian Oster. The Boys Cross Country team placed second with junior Benjamin Johnson placing second in the Varsity Boys race.
Field Hockey:
The girls lost 6-0 on Tuesday against Pompton Lakes. On Thursday they went to Demarest and defeated them 6-0. Seniors Madison Kosmark, Annabelle Lee, and Gabby DuToit scored goals. Junior Emily Ha scored her first varsity goal. On Sunday the girls went to Northern Highlands and lost 6-0.
Volleyball:
On Monday the girls played at Pascack Valley and won 2-0. Senior Samantha Kranzler had 13 kills, and senior Addison Gioffre had 2 blocks and 25 assists. On Thursday the girls played at Indian Hills and won 2-0. Kranzler had 8 kills, and Gioffre had 18 assists. Junior Gabriela Paltag had 2 blocks.
