Girls Soccer:
On Monday the girls had a home game against Mount Olive for the first round of the NJSIAA Tournament and won 1-0. Freshman Leah Ramos scored the winning goal. On Thursday they lost 4-0 to Northern Highlands in the quarterfinal round.
Boys Soccer:
On November 5 the boys lost 1-0 at home in the first round of the NJSIAA Tournament. Junior AJ Aiello had 6 saves.
Football:
The boys played against Cranford on Friday night in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Tournament and won 22-14. Sophomore Zachary Miceli had 163 passing yards and 51 rushing yardage, senior Alex Orecchio had 80 receiving yards and 2 interceptions.
Cross Country:
The girls and boys team headed to Holmdel Park on Saturday for the Group 3 State Championship. The girls placed 10th with the top finishers being Emme Fermin, Tina, D’Andrea, Sophia Katechis, Grey Ingledue, and Claire Bailey. Benjamin Johnson was the only qualifier from the boys team and placed 15th overall. Sophomore Fermin and junior Johnson qualified individually for a spot at MOCs.
Volleyball:
On Thursday the girls played Vernon in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA Tournament and won 2-0. Senior Samantha Kranzler had 15 kills, senior Addison Gioffre had 22 assists, and junior Julia Whaley had 3 blocks. On Saturday the girls had a home game against Pascack Valley for the NJSIAA Tournament semifinal round and won 2-0. Senior Samantha Kranzler had 16 kills, senior Addison Gioffre had 28 assists, and Eva Curko had 3 blocks.
