Girls Swim:
On Thursday, the girls team versed NVD beating them 90-80 at Hackensack High School. Sophomores Zoey Aydin and Edele Maymin led the team, placing first in all their events. Juniors Coco O’Connell and Julia Fila scored second place for the team.
Boys Swim:
On Monday the boys had a meet against Don Bosco Prep and lost 101-67. Senior Eren Aydin won his individual events, the 100 Breast, and 200 IM. Sophomore Daniel Kim got first in the 200 Free. On Thursday the team defeated NVD and won 93-77. Senior Eren Aydin placed first in all his events.
Boys Ice Hockey:
The boys had a home game on Wednesday and won 8-2. Senior Mitchell Brodsky had scored 3 goals and 5 points, junior Lucas Sands had 3 assists, and sophomore Anthony Herbert 18 saves.
Boys Bowling:
The boys had an away game on Tuesday against Bergenfield and won 7-0. Junior Selden Kolkebeck had achieved a total of 691 high sets and 267 high games. On Thursday the boys had an away game at Bergen Tech and lost 7-0. Kolckebeck had a total of 660 high sets and 255 high games.
Girls Bowling:
On Tuesday the girls had an away game at Bergenfield and won 7-0. Senior Soobeen Ahn had a score of 422 high sets and junior Julia Horgan had 166 high games. The girls had an away game on Thursday against Bergen Tech and lost 7-0. Junior Julia Horgan had a total of 419 high sets and 153 high games.
Wrestling:
On Wednesday the boys had a home match against Bergenfield and won 71-10. Senior Jack Drucker had the fastest pin time of the match with 37 seconds. On Friday they had a home game against Northern Highlands and won 48-22. Freshman Matthew Morrissey had the fastest pin time of 34 seconds.
Winter Track:
On January 8 there was a meet at Ocean Breeze for the Big North Championships. On the girls side, junior Angie Kelley placed second in the 400 Meter Dash and third in the 55 Meter Dash, sophomore Emme Fermin placed first in the 800 Meter Run, sophomore Nora Lee placed second in the 800 Meter Run, senior Sophia Katechis placed fourth in the 1600 Meter Run and third in the 3200 Meter Run, sophomore Caroline Ognibene placed first in High Jump and third in Long Jump, junior Adriana Bryan placed fourth in High Jump, senior Jamie Kim placed first in Pole Vault, senior Salome Sanchez placed second in Pole Vault. The 4x 800m relay placed first consisting of Emelia Sanchez, Christina Antonopolus, Lillian Oster and Nora Lee. On the boys side, sophomore Christakis Nicolaou placed third in the 55 Meter Dash and fourth in Long Jump, sophomore Prince Morrison placed second in the 400 Meter Dash, junior Benjamin Johnson placed fourth in the 800 Meter Run and second in the 3200 Meter Run, and junior Jinu Park placed fourth in pole vault.
Girls Basketball:
The girls had a home game on Tuesday against Tenafly and won 61-39. Junior Sienna Drullinksy had scored 19 points, and freshman Alexa Caunedo had scored 15 points. On Thursday the girls had a home game against Bergenfield and won 67-27. Juniors Sadie Murphy and Sienna Drullinsky scored 12 points, and junior Nina Caunedo scored 9 points. On Saturday the girls had a home game against DePaul and lost 37-35.
Boys Basketball:
On January 9 the boys had an away game against Bergenfield and won 57-31. Junior Isaac Shrager scored 21 points, and senior Dylan Drullinksy scored 18 points.
