Girls Swim:
On Tuesday the girls had an away meet at Wayne Hills and lost 95-72. Sophomore Edele Maymin won her events, the 200 Free and 50 Free, and also contributed to the victory in the 200 Free Relay alongside freshman Suahn Park, sophomore Julia Fila, and junior Coco O’Connell. O’Connell placed first in the 1oo Breast.
Boys Swim:
The boys had an away meet at Wayne Hills on Tuesday and lost 109-61. Junior Joon Park placed first in the 100 Fly, sophomore Alexander Khodosh placed first in the 100 Breast, and the 200 FR took first place with contributions from Khodosh, sophomore Carter Monllo, junior Travis Han, and senior Aleksander Dragic.
Boys Ice Hockey:
On Monday the boys had an away game against Fair Lawn and lost 13-5. Senior Mitchell Brodsky had 3 goals, senior Tyler Gaspin had 3 assists and 4 points, and sophomore Anthony Herbert had 27 saves. On Wednesday the boys had a home game against Pascack Valley and lost 8-4. Junior William Park scored 2 goals and had one assist, and Herbert had 24 saves. On Saturday the boys had an away game against Millburn and won 5-4. Brodsky scored 2 goals and Gaspin had 3 assists.
Boys Bowling:
On Tuesday the boys had an away game against River Dell and won 7-0. Senior Selden Kolkebeck had a total of 629 high sets and 246 high games. On Thursday the boys had a game against Tenafly and won 7-0. Kolkebeck totaled 590 high sets and 231 high games.
Girls Bowling:
On Tuesday, the girls had an away game against River Dell and won 5-0. Junior Julia Horgan had a total of 464 high sets and 178 high games. The girls had a game against Tenafly on Thursday and lost 5-2.
Wrestling:
On January 22 the boys had an away match against Demarest and won 54-21. Senior Jonathan Rotolo had the fastest pin time of 11 seconds. On Thursday the boys had a home match against Don Bosco Prep and suffered their first loss of the season with a score of 58-23. Senior Ryan Sullivan had the fastest pin time of 51 seconds. On Saturday the team had an away match against Kittatinny and won 48-27. Sullivan had the fastest pin time of a minute and 10 seconds. The team had another match on Saturday which was home against Livingston and won 50-27. Sullivan had the fastest pin time of 36 seconds. They also had a third match of the day against Watchung Hill and won 38-33. Senior Justin Morrissey had the quickest pin time of a minute and 11 seconds.
Girls Basketball:
On Tuesday the girl’s team had a home game against Teaneck and lost 44-39. Junior Sienna Drullinsky scored 13 points and freshman Alexa Caunedo scored 12 points. On Thursday the girls had an away game against Pascack Valley and lost 63-42. Junior Mia Derrico scored 11 points, Drullinsky scored 8 points, and sophomore Alivia Badurina scored 9 points.
Boys Basketball:
On Tuesday, the boys had an away game against Teaneck and lost 66-56. Junior Isaac Shrager scored 21 points. On Thursday the boys had a home game against Pascack Valley and won 67-58. Senior Dylan Drullinksy scored 24 points and Shrager scored 15 points. On Sunday the boys had a home game against Dweight Engelwood and won 61-57. Sophomore David Brennan scored 18 points and Shrager scored 16 points.
Cheer:
On Monday the girl’s cheer team had a competition at Westwood High School and went 6-0 in the Big North. On Saturday the girls had a competition at Seacaucus HS against West Milford, Lakeland, and Tenafly where they also placed first.
Track:
On Wednesday the team had a meet at The Armory for County Relays. The girls’ 4x800m placed second and the Distance Medley Relay placed third. Sophomore Caroline Ognibene placed second in high jump and senior Jamie Kim placed first in pole vault.
