Hi viewers, thanks for logging back on for another edition of Hot Takes!!! Can you feel it?? LOVE is in the air and has made its way to us and we are beyond prepared to give y’all our HOTTEST takes. Since some of us don’t have our own valentines this year (cough cough.. Gracie), we decided to write about celebrity valentines (awkward LOL). Anyways, we hope this article brings you more love than your valentine!!!

Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco

It was a big shocker to many when Selena Gomez recently posted a picture of her marquise-shaped ring from Benny Blanco. Fans were spirling about the shape of this ring, which corresponds with Gomez’s song “Good for You” where she repeatedly sings “I’m on my marquise diamonds, I’m a marquise diamond.” While this engagement was a jaw-dropper, we are not sure how to feel about this one. Fans have been throwing Blanco shade since the day they started dating (obviously impacting our thoughts on this). After Justin Beieber and Gomez broke up after eight years of dating, we really couldn’t see her with anyone else, although we all love Hailey. Until recently, everyone believed Blanco was shading Hailey’s Rhode phone case by posting a hot dog on his story over the case. Was this out of jealousy? Is Blanco still not over Gomez’s famous ex-boyfriend? Disregarding our thoughts on Blanco himself, Gomez being happy is all that truly matters. This couple, now engaged, has shared a lot of speculation, but at least this 225,000 dollar ring is beautiful and fits Gomez perfectly. 

Zendaya & Tom Holland 

We think we can all agree that Zendaya & Tom Holland are the world’s FAVORITE couple, yet they keep their relationship soooo private (why we love them the most). These two are so unproblematic that it is hard not to obsess over them. Zendaya & Holland have been going strong since 2017 (even though they swore they were “just friends”). Over the years, they have supported each other every step of each other’s career. Holland cares about her career so much that he refuses to walk the red carpet at Zendaya’s events. We were confused with this statement at first, yet our hearts melted when we heard Holland’s reasoning: “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us”. THIS IS WHY WE ARE TOM HOLLAND STANS (short king rise up!!!). Congratulations are in order for the newly engaged couple!! Holland popped the question over the holidays and we truly couldn’t be more happy.

Timothée Chalamet & Kylie Jenner 

We couldn’t write a Hot Takes article without talking about the one and only Timothée Chalamet & Kylie Jenner. We honestly don’t know how to feel about this relationship. We feel as if the whole world expected for the couple to just have a fling, but they’ve been going steady for a while. Something about the look of these two doesn’t appeal to the human eye (especially our eyes). He honestly just looks like a child next to Jenner (even though he is 2 YEARS older than her). Kylie Jenner has a sense of class that Chalamet just isn’t giving back. He simply looks raggedy compared to her and we are NOT here for it. Sorry not sorry! 

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce 

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce? We all knew they were going to be on this list. This iconic couple is going onto their second Valentine’s Day together!! Although next week won’t be focused on the upcoming Valentine’s Day for football tight end, Travis Kelce, entering his fourth Super Bowl on the Kansas City Chiefs. Winning this Super Bowl would definitely help boost the mood. Swift has been spotted at almost all of his games, and the support she gives is just so cute. Even though she is constantly busy, she’s always making time for him. In our opinion, we doubt it will be long until Swift has a ring on her finger (at least we hope it won’t be). During the Grammys, Swift wore a beautiful red dress (red specifically for the Chiefs) and, under this, a chain with a “T” hanging on the end of it. How cute is that?! In Swift’s Grammy Speech she shared her thoughts on her boyfriend, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness, fun, and magic.”
