1st Quarter: Ramapo starts with the ball at their own 20 yard line. Aidan Nally (#19) intercepts a pass in the end zone and returns it to the 19, but NVOT ends up punting the ball away. Ramapo then drives down the field right into the end zone after a 4 yard run by Gino Gorga (#3) making it 7-0.
2nd Quarter: The second quarter starts with NVOT at their own 39. On 4th & 8 from Ramapo’s 29, Zach Miceli (#8) finds Shane Small (#13) for a walk-in touchdown, making the score 7-7. With 1 minute remaining in the first half, Ramapo runs it in again this time with Liam Hayward (#23) making it 14-7 after the extra point.

3rd Quarter: The Knights start the second half at their own 24. On 3rd & 8 at the Raiders 13, Zach Miceli (#8) finds Shane Small (#13) for his second touchdown of the game, making it 14-13 as the two point attempt fails. The Raiders now have possession at their own 24. On 1st & 10 from their own 44, Casey Grusser (#8) takes it himself and runs it all the way to the end zone to make it 21-13 with 6 minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Knights quickly respond by driving down field and on 2nd down Zach Miceli (#8) finds Shane Small (#13) again for his third touchdown of the day. A two point conversion by Devyn Radoian (#2) puts the score at 21-21 at the end of the third quarter.

4th Quarter: On 4th & 5 the Raiders’ Devin Hunt (#34) settle for a field goal to make the score 24-21 with 5 minutes and 30 seconds remaining in the game. After a strong drive, on 3rd & goal from the 6, Zach Miceli (#8) finds his favorite target yet again in Shane Small (#13) to take their first lead of the game with 1 minute and 45 seconds left. The Raiders take possession of the ball at their own 10 and drive the ball all the way to the Knights’ 40 with 44 seconds remaining. On the final play of the game, Casey Grusser takes off running for the end zone, but is taken down by Devyn Radoian (#2) and Leo Etter (#18) to secure a statement win for the Knights, helping the Knights advance to 4-0 on the year.

Player of the Game: Tight end Shane Small hauled in 9 catches for 127 yards and 4 of the 9 catches were touchdowns. Small also showed up on the defensive side of the ball by adding 6 tackles to his totals.
