Closing the Books to Open the Mind
Students attend Wellness Day activities.
On Friday, November 22, students had the opportunity to step away from school work and other obligations. During the afternoon, they learned about different techniques to help balance their schoolwork and personal lives. Prior to Wellness Day, students signed up for sessions of their choice, which were run by members of the local community and included activities that ranged from hypnosis to therapy dogs. In addition to these activities, the keynote speaker, Mr. Scott Chesney, shared his story in the Auditorium.
