The schedule change will go into effect April 8.

In an email sent on Friday, February 5, Principal Bruce Sabatini announced that the Junior Prom has been postponed “due to COVID-19 and in the interest of the safety and health of our students.”

The event, originally planned for March 27, has not been rescheduled. Administration will work with the Junior Class Advisors to plan the event and relay any new information.

February 9 update: About the cancellation, Carrie Quinn, Class of 2022 Advisor, said, “Unfortunately with the restrictions placed on indoor gatherings, we have to cancel our Junior Prom in March. Mrs. Langan, class president Ava Petrilli, and I are working closely with administration to hopefully be able to have some kind of prom or class function this year. We cannot assume that restrictions will be lifted by the spring, so we cannot plan anything until we know the state will allow for gatherings up to 300 people but we are hopeful to be able to celebrate the junior class this year!”
