Saturday, May 1

On Saturday, the baseball team lost to River Dell. However, Faybel Ventura, James Keating, and Al Mosca contributed with six total hits and runs. Kyle Lee and Tyler Bajakian combined for 123 pitches and six innings. 

The boys lacrosse team suffered a loss against DePaul. 

The girls softball team won a game against Ramsey. Olivia Cataldo, Isabella Chugranis, Tina Chugranis, and Josephine Morales combined for a total of eight runs and nine hits. Pitchers Averi Galioto and Raegen Germano pitched for a total of seven innings and had nine strikeouts together.

 

Monday, May 3

Baseball scored a victory against Teaneck on Monday. Alex Gioffre, Andrew Cuschieri, and Buz Kranzler had a combined total of 156 pitches, seven innings, and eight strikeouts. 

Boys golf played games against both Bergenfield and Pascack Valley. The team won against Bergenfield with a score of 167 and lost against Pascack Valley with a score of 167. 

Girls lacrosse lost to River Dell. Despite their loss, player Avery Linder scored three goals; Nina Stonitsch scored three goals as well as one assist; Lorena Nicolai had one assist; and Sophia Wagner scored one goal. Goalie Hannah Jung had nine saves. 

Boys lacrosse suffered a loss against Paramus. 

The softball team lost to Ridgewood. Despite their loss, batters Olivia Cataldo, Averi Cataldo, Isabella Chugranis, and Tina Chugranis had seven runs and 10 hits combined. Pitcher Averi Galioto had seven innings. 

On Monday, boys tennis won against Pascack Valley with a score of 5-0. Jayan Fibiger, Daniel Hwang, and Jeffrey Sales each won their single matches. Joshua Cho and Joshua Hwang as well as Jackson Kim and Andrew Maier won their doubles matches. 

 

Tuesday, May 4

Boys golf had games against Tenafly and Demarest. The team unfortunately had a loss against Tenafly, with a score of 171. However, they won against Demarest with a score of 171 as well. 

Boys tennis lost to Ridgewood. However, Daniel Hwang managed to win his single match and Jackson Kim and Andew Maier were able to win their double match. 

 

Wednesday, May 5

The boys golf team won against Ridgewood and Fort Lee with a score of 154 for both games.

Girls lacrosse lost against Fair Lawn on Wednesday. However, Avery Linder had one goal and one assist; Jessica Jung scored one goal; Daniela Ash scored two goals and one assist; Jacklyn Jung scored one goal; Allyson Sheldon scored three goals and had one assist; and Nina Stonitsch scored one goal. Goalie Hannah Jung had 10 saves.

Thursday, May 6

The baseball team won against Teaneck on Thursday. Pitchers Alex Gioffre, John Budge, Al Mosca, and Lou Mosca combined for a total of 145 pitches, seven innings, and seven strikeouts. 

Boys golf won against Park Ridge with a score of 180.

Current Record: 11-7

The girls golf team ended in a tie with a score of 195 against Ridgewood.

Current Record: 0-1-1

Boys tennis lost overall against Ramapo. However, Andrew Maier won his single match and Joshua Hwang and Joshua Cho won their double match.

Current Record: 3-4

The track team participated in the Bergen County Relays from May 6 to May 8. Natalie Carril, Abby Dennis, Breelyn McNamera, and Cara Hliboki won the girls 4x100m. JC Baratta, Ryan Tacchi, Aidan Heaney, and Ryan Krystiniak won the boys 4x200m. Natalie Carril, Abby Dennis, Breelyn McNamara, and Cara Hliboki won the girls sprint medley. The winners of the boys shot put relay were Patrick O’Neill, Jake Smith, and Jack Reneghan. The winners of the boys javelin relay were Kevin Ryu, Niko Akos, and Dylan Heaney. 

 

Saturday, May 8

Baseball lost against Mahwah on Saturday. However, Kyle Lee and Buz Kranzler combined for a total of 147 pitches, seven innings, and seven strikeouts.

Current Record: 4-6

The softball team scored a win against Paramus Catholic. Olivia Cataldo, Averi Galioto, Isabella Chugranis, Kayleigh Murphy, Grayson Housley, Annie Pabst, Tina Chugranis, Raegen Germano, and Josephine Morales had a combined total of nine runs and 17 hits. Averi Galioto pitched five innings and four strikeouts.
