Monday, May 10

The baseball team scored a victory against Demarest on Monday by a score of 14-3. Alex Gioffre pitched seven innings, with a total of 93 pitches and nine strikeouts. 

The girls golf team competed in the state sectional tournament ending in eighth place overall. The team was represented by Jiye Shin, Amie Choe, Chloe Kim, Ashley Ryu, and Jiyoon Han. 

The girls lacrosse team lost 16-4 to Villa Walsh on Monday. Avery Linder, Caitlin Genco, Daniela Ash, and Sophia Wagner each scored one of the four goals. Nina Stonitsch had two assists. Goalie Hannah Jung had 15 saves. 

The softball team lost to Immaculate Heart by a score of 6-3. Olivia Cataldo, Averi Galioto, Isabella Chugranis, Kayleigh Murphy, Grayson Housley, Tina Chugranis, Raegen Germano, and Josephine Morales combined for three runs and 11 hits. Germano pitched for six innings and had seven strikeouts. 

The boys tennis team lost to Bergen Tech on Monday by a score of 5-0. Jayan Fibiger, Daniel Hwang, Jeff Fales, Joshua Cho, Joshua Hwang, Jackson Kim, and Andrew Maier represented the team. 

 

Tuesday, May 11

The boys golf team participated in the state sectional tournament, winning the title of Group 3 North 1 Sectional Champions and placing in third place overall. The team was led by Luke Chang, Ian Kim, Timothy Clune, Aaron Song, and Jun Chun. 

Boys tennis won against Bergen Catholic by a score of 3-2. Jayan Fibiger won his single match. In addition, Joshua Hwang and Joshua Cho along with Jackson Kim and Andrew Maier won their double matches. 

Baseball scored a victory against Hackensack on Tuesday; the score was 8-4. Kyle Lee and Tyler Bajakian pitched for seven innings and combined for 108 pitches and six strikeouts. 

The boys lacrosse team lost to Clifton. However, Sam Plantin, Declan Ward, Dylan, and Chris Holloway combined for five goals. Andrew Pinkus had one assist and Jake Mahan had nine saves. The score was 11-5. 

 

Wednesday, May 12

The baseball team lost to Demarest on Wednesday by a score of 4-2. The team scored two runs in the first and third inning, and contributed seven hits overall. 

The boys tennis team won against Bergenfield by a score of 4-1. Daniel Hwang and Jeffrey Fales won their single matches. Pairs Joshua Hwang and Joshua Cho and Jackson Kim and Andrew Maier won their double matches.

The softball team won against Holy Angels on Wednesday by a score of 10-0. Olivia Cataldo, Averi Galioto, Isabella Chugranis, Kayleigh Murphy, Annie Pabst, Tina Chugranis, and Raegen Germano combined for eight runs and 11 hits. Germano pitched for five innings and had 11 strikeouts.

Girls lacrosse lost to Emerson. Avery Linder, Jessica Jung, Caitlin Genco, Daniela Ash, Allyson Sheldon, Nina Stonitsch and Sophia Wagner combined for 13 goals and five assists. Goalie Hannah Jung had nine saves. The score was 14-13. 

 

Thursday, May 13

Softball won against Demarest on Thursday by a score of 12-0. Averi Galioto, Isabella Chugranis, Kayleigh Murphy, Annie Pabst, Tina Chugranis, and Josephine Morales combined for six runs and nine hits. Raegen Germano pitched for three innings and had eight strikeouts. 

 

Friday, May 14

The baseball team lost against Ramapo by a score of 6-2. The team scored two runs in the second and fourth inning. 

The girls lacrosse team lost against Northern Highlands; the score was 14-3. Caitlin Genco, Allyson Sheldon, Sophia Wagner, and Ella Weiss combined for three goals and two assists. Hannah Jung had five saves.

Softball lost to River Dell on Friday by a score of 2-1. Isabella Chugranis, Annie Pabst, Tina Chugranis, and Josephine Morales combined for five hits and one run. Reagan Germano pitched for six innings and had 15 strikeouts.

Saturday, May 15

The baseball team lost against Glen Rock with a score of 6-1 on Saturday in the first round of the Bergen County tournament. The players had one run in the sixth inning, and four hits overall.

Next Game: Monday, May 24

The boys lacrosse team lost to Ramsey by a score of 13-3. Dylan Plescia and Andrew Nenner were the leading scorers, combining three goals.
