Monday, September 13

The boys soccer team won their game against Demarest 2-1. Offensively, the team had eight shots on goal. Captain Jason Chung and senior Jake Cohen scored with assists from senior Takumi Tomono and junior Sahaj Vaghasia. Goalkeeper Jonah Kim contributed with three saves. 

The girls soccer team tied their game against Demarest 1-1 after going to double overtime. The team had 12 shots on target with a goal from junior Natalie Carril. 

The girls tennis team lost 4-1 to Tenafly. 

The girls volleyball team lost 2-0 to River Dell. Senior Jola Olutiola had 12 kills and junior Emma Gobo chipped in with 16 assists.

The field hockey team lost 5-0 to West Milford. Goalkeeper Lynne Kim had 15 saves and the team had four shots on goal. 

 

Tuesday, September 14

The girls tennis team won their game against Pascack Valley 3-2. Senior Mia Setrakian won the first singles match. Junior Brianna Varaiya and sophomore Sierra Lumia won the first doubles match and freshman Jahnavi Vaghasia and junior Carli Eichenbaum won the second doubles match. 

The field hockey team lost their game against Wayne Hills 4-2. Senior Ellie Weisner and Alexa Padilla each scored a goal, both assisted by captain Nina Stonitsch. Kim contributed with five saves. 

 

Friday, September 17

The volleyball team won their game against Teaneck 2-0. Olutiola led the way with 10 kills, while Gobo contributed with 18 assists.

The football team lost their game against Clifton 34-22. Junior Tommy Carraciolo led the air attack with three passing touchdowns. Senior Charlie Amatrula had two receiving touchdowns and added a third on the ground. Sophomore Evan Brooks contributed with a receiving touchdown. 

The field hockey team lost their game against Wayne Valley 6-0. Goalkeeper Shay McGee had four saves. 

 

Saturday, September 18

The boys and girls cross country teams competed at Garrett Mountain. The girls team placed second overall and the boys team placed third overall. Junior Kristen Johnson placed sixth, freshman Sophia Katechis placed seventh, and senior Cara Hliboki placed ninth in the girls’ race. Junior Matt Malora placed fifth in the boys’ race.

The girls soccer team lost their game against Northern Highlands 2-1. Carril scored a goal and goalkeeper Mackenzie Ward contributed with 10 saves. 

The boys soccer team lost 1-0 to Northern Highlands in double overtime.
