Monday, September 27

The boys soccer team lost its game against Wayne Hills 1-0 at home. Goalkeeper Jonah Kim had four saves. 

The girls tennis team lost against Ramapo 4-1 at home. Sophomore Maggie English won her singles match.

The volleyball team won against Bergenfield 2-0. Senior Jola Olutiola had nine kills and freshman Addison Gioffre had 13 assists.

The field hockey team lost its game against Westwood 2-1. Captain Nina Stonitsch scored a goal assisted by senior Ellie Wiesner. Goalkeeper Shay McGee had nine saves. 

The girls soccer team lost its game against Wayne Hills 3-0. Goalkeeper Mackenzie Ward had nine saves. 

 

Tuesday, September 28

The cross country team competed at Darlington in Mahwah. For the girls’ race, senior Cara Hliboki placed first, junior Kristen Johnson placed second, freshman Sophia Katechis placed third, junior Kate Meeks placed fourth, senior Breelyn McNamara placed eighth, and junior Ariana DeNicola placed ninth. For the boys’ race, captain Matt Malora placed fourth, senior Ian McGreevy placed eighth, and captain Casey Symons placed tenth. 

 

Wednesday, September 29

The field hockey team won its game against Hackensack 7-.1 Stonitsch scored two goals and had two assists. McGee had 15 saves.

The girls tennis team won against Teaneck 5-0 at home. 

The girls volleyball team lost its home game against Demarest 2-0. Junior Emma Gobo had 16 assists and Olutiola had eight kills and eight digs.

 

Thursday, September 30

The boys soccer team lost 2-1 to Bergen Catholic. Senior Spencer Walsh scored a goal assisted by captain Leo Kim. Senior Evan Chrenko had three saves.

The girls soccer team lost its game against Immaculate Heart Academy 1-0 at home. 

 

Friday, October 1

The volleyball team won its game against Ridgewood 2-1. Olutiola had 20 kills and 18 digs. Sophomore Grayson Housley had 13 digs while junior Emma Gobo had 18 assists.

The field hockey team won its game against Dwight-Englewood 6-1 at home. Stonisch had a goal and two assists while Wiesner, senior Nicole Sir, senior Allie Callahan, senior Jillian Garber, and sophomore Alex Padilla each contributed with a goal. Senior Remy Barker had two assists, while freshman Mia Ferraro and senior Yuna Jung also had an assist each. McGee contributed to the defense with 11 saves.

The football team lost its game against Ramapo 41-13. Junior Tommy Carraciolo had two passing touchdowns. One was hauled in by fellow junior Luca Saracino, and sophomore Evan Brooks received the other.

 

Sunday, October 3

The girls soccer team won its county game 1-0 against Indian Hills at home. Sophomore Abby Dennis scored the lone goal, assisted by junior Jessica Jung.
