Tuesday, October 5

The field hockey team won its game against Demarest 6-0. Captain Nina Stonitsch had two goals and three assists while senior Ella Weiss had a goal and assist. Seniors Nicole Sir, Remy Barker, and Ellie Wiesner each contributed with a goal. Goalkeeper Shay McGee had three saves. 

 

Wednesday, October 6

The girls tennis team won its game against Pascack Valley 3-2 at home. 

The volleyball team won its game against Ramapo 2-1 at home. Captain Jola Olutiola had 18 kills and 20 digs.

 

Thursday, October 7

The boys soccer team won its game against Bergenfield 2-1 at home. Captain Max Caunedo had a goal and an assist. Sophomore Tsubasa Tomono contributed with a goal and senior Max Heaney had an assist. Goalkeeper Evan Chrenko had four saves. 

The girls soccer team won its game against Tenafly 1-0. Junior Natalie Carril scored a goal, assisted by captain Brooke Ackerman. Goalkeeper Mackenzie Ward had four saves. 

The field hockey team won its game against Butler 3-2 at home. Seniors Allie Callahan, Wiesner, and Weiss each had a goal. Stonitsch had two assists and McGee had seven saves. 

 

Friday, October 8

The football team won its game against Bergenfield 33-15 at home. The rushing attack was in full effect, as Juniors Tommy Carraciolo and Jack Diggins combined for four touchdowns on the ground.

The volleyball team won its game against Teaneck 2-0. Olutiola had eight kills and junior Emma Gobo had 11 assists.

 

Saturday, October 9

The volleyball team won its county game against Park Ridge 2-0 at home. Olutiola had seven kills, and Gobo pitched in with 17 assists. Sophomore Layla Giordano had three blocks.

The girls soccer team won its county game against Demarest in penalties after a 0-0 full time score. Ward had eight saves in regulation time and Old Tappan scored three of its five penalties. 

The boys soccer team won its Bergen County Cup game at home against Bergen Tech 4-1. Caunedo had two goals and an assist, sophomore Tyler Chiu had a goal, senior Declan Jaegar had a goal and an assist, and captain Jason Chung had an assist. Chrenko had two saves. 

 

Sunday, October 10

The volleyball team won its county game against Ramsey 2-0 at home. Olutiola and Giordano each had seven kills, and Gobo had 17 assists.

The field hockey team lost its quarterfinal in-season tournament game against River Dell 3-1.
