Baseball: On Monday, the team picked up a 6-4 win over Mahwah. Senior Rocco Pierorazio and sophomore Mateo Skific each had two hits in the win. On Thursday, the team lost to Westwood 7-5, Friday they lost to Ramsey 7-4, and Saturday the boys lost to Pascack Hills 5-1. Sophomore Anthony Onnembo had two hits in Friday’s loss.
Boys Golf: On Monday, the team placed 8th in the Group 2 tournament.
Boys Lacrosse: On Tuesday, the boys lost to Pascack Hills 3-2, and then lost 9-5 to Fair Lawn on Thursday. On Saturday, the team beat Paramus Catholic 13-4 behind three goals from freshman Henry Kraus and junior Blake Sommer.
Girls Lacrosse: On Monday, the girls defeated Lakeland 11-8 after sophomore Mia Derrico scored five goals. On Wednesday, they lost to Ramsey 6-5 despite Derrico scoring four goals. On Saturday, the girls defeated Demarest 14-3; junior Annie Lee had six goals while senior Ally Sheldon had four goals.
Softball: On Monday, the girls lost to Immaculate Heart 5-1. Then, on Friday, the girls defeated Bergenfield 7-3 behind seven innings pitched from junior Jamie Farrington. Senior Averi Galioto and junior Amelia Plescia each had three hits in Friday’s win. On Saturday, the girls beat West Milford 3-1.
Track & Field: The team competed in the Bergen County Meet of Championships on Friday. Senior Abby Dennis placed first in 100M hurdles, senior Layla Giordano placed first in discus and shot put, and senior Jack Small finished first in his respective shot put event. The team also competed in events in the County Seat Invitational on Saturday.
Boys Tennis: On Monday, the boys defeated Wayne Hills 3-2, Tuesday they defeated Pascack Valley 5-0, and Thursday they beat Demarest 4-1. The doubles group of seniors Peter Setrakian and Owen Young, and junior Kiran Gurunathan won each of their matches this week.
Boys Volleyball: On Thursday May 16, the boys lost 2-1 away against Wayne Valley. On Friday against Jefferson Township High School, they suffered another 2-1 loss.
