Tommy Caracciolo won NJ.com’s player of the week, the second Golden Knight football player to accomplish that in the short season. The senior threw for 196 yards, 3 touchdowns, on one interception in week two’s performance at home. He also ran for 46 yards on 8 rushing attempts, against a Northern Highlands team that was the #1 ranked public school team in the state the previous season.

Tommy’s performance helped lead the Knights to a shutout win over the Highlanders, “I knew what we had to do and what it felt like to lose to them the year prior,” and credited his film study ahead of the game, “I watched film from them last year for motivation.”
