From November 17 through November 18, the Class of 2026 held elections for class officer positions.

Candidates created videos that were shared via the class Canvas page on November 17. Students were able to choose from a list of candidates for every position on a Google Form. The candidate’s speeches were also required to include attainable goals for the class and their specific qualifications for the position. “I think they worked well virtually, we had a good number of votes,” Reinfried said.

At the end of the school day on Friday, November 18, the winners were announced via email. The winners included: President Anand Vaghasia, Vice President Jaley Mazzetti, Secretary Yale Kim, Treasurer Stephanie Xie, and Publicity Chair Emily Ha.

Ha was also excited to begin in her new role: “I’m a people person and very good at communicating with others.”

According to freshman class advisor Courtney Reinfried, “we are just getting things up and running for the Class of 2026,” but looks forward to a successful year.
