Girls Tennis:
On September 27th, the girls played at Demarest and lost 4-1. Alina Sorokin and Hyacinth Seo won their doubles match.
Girls Soccer:
On Monday, Old Tappan played Teaneck at home. The girls won 7-0 with Senior Nicole Klapowitz scoring twice. On Thursday they played a home game against Tenafly and won 6-1. Klapowitz had two goals again.
Boys Soccer:
The boys played on September 23rd at Teaneck and won 2-1. The goal scorers for the night were Lorenzo Lago and Daniel Oh. On the 26th, Old Tappan played an away game at Tenafly, and lost 1-0. On the 28th, the boys played Bergenfield at home and won 1-0, with a goal from Tyler Sin.
Cross Country:
On Tuesday, the Girls Cross Country Team won the Big North National Batch Meet 2024 at Darlington Park in Mahwah. They placed first with the top runners: Sophia Katechis, Emme Fermin, and Christina D’Andrea. The girls placed second on Saturday at the Brett Taylor Invitational at Darlington Park, Mahwah. Sophia Katechis and Emme Fermin went 1 and 2 in the Varsity A race. The boys team also raced on Tuesday placing second with Benjamin Johnson placing first on the team and placing second overall. On Saturday the boys placed 6th overall with Brendan McNamara first on the team.
Field Hockey:
On Tuesday, the girls played at home against Lakeland and lost 5-4. Seniors Annabelle Lee, Gabby DuToit, and Mia Ferarro scored.
Football:
On the 27th they played against Paramus at home and won 45-0. Seniors Nick Rossi and Alex Orecchio made huge contributions to the win.
Volleyball:
On Monday, the girls went to Demarest and won 2-0. Senior Samantha Kranzler had 15 kills, Junior Julia Whaley had 3 blocks, and Senior Addison Gioffre had 20 assists. On Wednesday, the girls went to Teaneck and won 2-0. Seniors Samantha Kranzler got 14 kills, and Addison Gioffre got 18 assists. On Friday, the girls played against Ramapo at home and won 2-0. Seniors Samantha Kranzler had 9 kills, and Addison Gioffre had 23 assists.
