Girls Soccer:
The girls had an away game on Wednesday against Hanover Park and won 2-0. Freshman Elena Pothos scored the goals.
Boys Soccer:
On Monday the boys had a home game against St. Joseph (Mont.) and won 3-2 in overtime. The goals were scored by senior Lorenzo Lago, senior Daniel Oh, and freshman Adem Ozgen. On Friday they played an away game at Emerson and lost 3-0.
Field Hockey:
The girls had an away game against Butler on Tuesday and won 2-1. Senior Mia Ferraro scored the goals.
Football:
The boys had a home game against Weequahic in the NJSIAA tournament quarterfinal round on Friday and won 19-11. Junior Anthony Micelli blocked a punt giving them possession to score.
Cross Country:
On Saturday the girls and boys team went to Garret Mountain, Woodland Park to race at Sectionals. The girls placed 3rd overall which qualified them for Groups next weekend and the boys placed 7th. The top 5 finishers on the girls team were Emme Fermin, Tina D’Andrea, Sophia Katechis, Lillian Oster, and Claire Bailey. For the boys team Benjamin Johnson was within the top 10 finishers and Brendan McNamara was within the top 20 finishers.
Volleyball:
On October 29 the girls had an away game against Holy Angels and won 2-0. Seniors Samantha Kranzler had 9 kills, and Addison Gioffre had 16 assists and 1 block. On the 31 the girls had a home game against Teaneck and won 2-0. Senior Kranzler had 7 kills, senior Gioffre had 10 assists, and junior Julia Whaley had 3 blocks. On November 2 they had a home game against Immaculate Heart for the Bergen County Tournament final round and took the win 2-0. Senior Samantha Kranzler had 9 kills, senior Addison Gioffre had 28 assists, and junior Gabriela Paltag had 2 blocks.
