Girls Lacrosse:
On Tuesday, the girls had a home game against Livingston and lost 15-3. On Thursday, the girls had an away game against Lakeland and won 18-6. Junior Mia Derrico scored 8 goals, and senior Annabelle Lee scored 5 goals. On Saturday, the team played against Ramapo for the Bergen County Tournament First Round and won 12-7. Senior Lee scored 6 goals, junior Derrico scored 4 goals.
Boys Lacrosse:
On Saturday, the team had a home game against Park Ridge and won 10-4. Sophomore Nick Blanchard had 4 goals, and junior Ethan Anderson had 2 assists.
Baseball:
On Tuesday, the boys had an away game against Demarest and won 8-2. Senior Alex Orecchio had 2 runs and 3 hits. The boys had a home game on Wednesday against Demarest and won 11-1. Junior Max Garcia had 2 runs and 3 hits. On Sunday, the boys had a Coaches vs. Cancer game against Dwight Englewood. The game was held at Park Ridge, and the boys took the win with a score of 15-0. Junior Selden Kolkebeck pitched a five-inning no-hitter with nine strikeouts and two walks for the Golden Knights.
Softball:
On Monday, the team had a home game against Demarest and won 5-3. The girls had an away game on Wednesday against Teaneck and won 13-0. Sophomore Ava Candullo had 2 hits, and senior Mia Ferraro had 4 hits. On Friday, the team had an away game against Pascack Valley and won 6-0. Senior Amelia Plescia had 2 runs and 2 hits. On Saturday, the team had a home game against Passaic Tech and won 5-0. Senior Plescia had 1 run and 1 hit.
Boys Golf:
On Monday, the boys competed in the Arcola Invitational. On Wednesday, the boys had a match against Wayne Valley and won 157-158. Junior Zachary Miller had a score of 38. On Friday, the team competed at the Big North Conference Tournament.
Girls Golf:
On Wednesday, the girls competed in the Bergen County Championships.
Track:
On Monday, both the boys and girls competed in the Night of the 3200s. Juniors Ben Johnson and Brenden McNamara set personal bests, with times of 9:48 and 9:53. Senior Sophia Katechis matched her personal best with a time of 11:07. The track team competed on Friday for the Big North Championships. Senior Katechis placed first in the 3200 with freshman Christina D’Andrea in second. Junior Gianna DeMarco placed second in Shot Put. Sophomore Caroline Ognibene placed first in high jump. Senior Jamie Kim placed first in Pole Vault. Sophomore Joley Giordano placed first in Discus. Sophomore Prince Morrison placed first in the 400 meter race. The 4×400 team of sophomore Leo Etter, sophomore Christakis Nicalou, junior McNamara, and sophomore Morrison placed first.
Boys Tennis:
On Monday, the boys had an away match against Ridgewood and lost 5-0. The boys had an away match on Wednesday against Demarest and lost 3-2. On Thursday, the team had an away match against Teaneck and won 5-0, with every player winning their match. The team had a match on Friday against Pascack Valley and won 3-2. Senior Kiran Gurunathan, junior Sammi Gurunathan, and senior Willian Kwon won their matches.
Boys Volleyball:
On Monday, the boys won 2-0 against Cliffside Park. Junior Aiden Wong pitched in 8 kills and 7 digs, and junior Joe Shirnov had 5 kills and 5 digs. On Wednesday, they won 2-1 against Don Bosco. Sophomore Carter Monllor had 11 kills with a .588 hitting efficiency, junior Shirinov had 11 kills and 4 digs, and junior Wong had 7 kills and 9 digs. On Thursday, the boys went against Bergen Arts and Science Charter and won 2-1. Junior Wong had 18 kills and 7 digs, sophomore Monllor had 9 kills and 1 ace, and junior Shirinov had 10 kills and 8 digs. Their overall record is now 8-6.
