Friday, November 13

The field hockey team lost to Glen Ridge. However, attack Allie Callahan was able to score one goal and goalie Kara Silverman had 16 saves. The team had five attempts to score a goal. This eliminates them from the state tournament.

Final Record: 3-10-1

The boys soccer team had a victory against River Dell on Friday. Jack Jaeger and Jon Mangano had one assist and two goals with one assist respectively, and junior forward Tommy Curko had one goal and one assist. Goalie Jonah Kim had two saves. 

 

Saturday, November 14

Boys cross country finished 3rd at the State Sectional Championships. Their season is now officially over. 

 

Monday, November 16

The girls soccer team won their match against Tenafly this past Monday. Midfielder Cara Hliboki scored one goal, allowing the girls to gain their first win in the state tournament.

 

Tuesday, November 17

The boys soccer team lost to Ramapo. Their goalie, junior Evan Chrenko, had four saves and the team had five attempted shots on the goal during the game. Their loss in the state tournament means the end of the boys’ season. 

Final Record: 10-4-1

 

Wednesday, November 18

The girls soccer team lost to Ramapo on Wednesday by a score of 2-0, and goalie Mackenzie Ward had six saves. This ends their run in the state tournament and the season.

Final Record: 6-8-2
