Monday, October 11

The volleyball team won its game against Tenafly 2-0. Captain Jola Olutiola had eight kills and seven digs, while junior Emma Gobo had 29 assists.

 

Tuesday, October 12

The boys soccer team won its game against Teaneck 8-3. Senior Max Heaney led the scoring with two goals. Seniors Josh Cannold, Jake Cohen, and captain Max Caunedo, and juniors Andrew Demcsik, Jun Lee, and Thomas Scott also each chipped in with a goal. Seniors Matt Lindley, Will Messina, and Andrew Digia, as well as sophomores Tsubasa Tomono and Tyler Chiu, each had an assist. Goalkeeper Jonah Kim had three saves and an assist.

The girls soccer team won its senior night game against Teaneck 3-0 at home. Junior Natalie Carril had a goal and an assist. Captain Julianna Morrissey and sophomore Katherine Kim each had a goal as well. Goalkeeper Mackenzie Ward had six saves. 

The field hockey team lost its game against Lakeland 6-0 at home. Goalkeeper Shay McGee had 38 saves. 

 

Thursday, October 14

The boys soccer team won its game against Demarest 2-1. Caunedo scored the winning goal in overtime. Cohen had a goal, assisted by Demcsik. Goalkeeper Evan Chrenko had six saves. 

The girls soccer team won its game against Demarest 2-1 at home. Carril and Morrissey each had a goal and an assist. Ward had eight saves. 

The field hockey team lost its game against Northern Highlands 6-0. 

The volleyball team won its game against Pascack Valley 2-1 at home. Olutiola had eight kills and 11 digs. Gobo had 22 assists.

The cross country team competed in a league meet at Darlington in Mahwah. The girls team took first place in their league, and the boys team came in fourth. Senior Cara Hliboki won the title of girls league champ.

 

Friday, October 15

The football team lost its game against Northern Highlands 45-0.

Saturday, October 16

The field hockey team won its senior day game against Demarest 6-0. Senior Ellie Wiesner scored two goals and captain Nina Stonitsch had two assists. Seniors Ella Weiss, Jillian Garber, and Melanie Padilla also found their way onto the score sheet with a goal each. 

The volleyball team’s county game against Demarest was postponed until Friday, October 22.

 

Sunday, October 17

The girls soccer team lost its county quarter-final game against Ramapo 1-0. 

The boys soccer team lost its Bergen County Cup game against Glen Rock 2-1. Captain Leo Kim had a goal. Chrenko and Kim combined to have three saves.
