Monday, January 10

The wrestling team won its match against Bergenfield 70-6. Seniors Jake Smith, Andrew Digia, and Liam Fowley; sophomore Robert Ferrara; and freshmen Daniel Olivo, Justin Morrissey, and Nicholas Rotolo won their matches with a pin. Junior Sam Bodnar, senior Declan Jaeger, and senior Luke Guendy won their matches with decisions. Senior Matthew Olivo and freshman Jonathon Rotolo won their matches through forfeit. 

 

Tuesday, January 11

The boys basketball lost their game against Teaneck 71-68. Senior Frankie D’ercole scored 30 points and senior Ilan Barnea had 12.

The girls basketball team won their game against Teaneck 44-36. Junior Mackenzie Ward had 11 points and sophomore Maya Giordano had 10 points.

The boys bowling team won their match against Bergenfield 7-0. Junior Peter Stonitsch had a set high score of 519.

 

Wednesday, January 12

The boys bowling team won their match against Northern Highlands 5-2. Junior Ryan Woenne-McManus had a set high score of 663.

The girls bowling team lost their match against Northern Highlands 7-0.

The wrestling team won its match against Westwood 57-10. Senior Nathan Kim, sophomore Ryan O’Neil, Smith, Olivo, Fowley, Rossi, and Olivo won their matches with a pin. Rotolo, Digia, and Rotolo won their matches with decisions. Jaeger won his match with a forfeit. 

 

Thursday, January 13

The boys basketball team lost their game against Tenafly 82-76 in triple overtime.D’ercole scored 25 points and sophomore Evan Brooks had 23 points. 

The girls basketball team won their game against Tenafly 51-49. Sophomore Layla Giordano had 22 points and Maya Giordano had 14 points. 

 

Friday, January 14

The wrestling team won its match against Fair Lawn 48-23. Fowley won his match with a 4-2 sudden victory. Rotolo won his match with a 6-1 decision. Rotolo, Olivo, Rossi, Olivo, Kim, O’Neil, and Smith all won their matches through forfeit. 

The wrestling team lost its Big North Duals match against River Dell 35-28. Olivo, Rossi, and Olivo won their matches with a pin. Rotolo, Rotolo, and Fowley won their matches with decisions. 

The ice hockey team lost its home game against Pascack Valley 7-5. Freshman Brandon Field led the scoring with two goals, while junior Anthony White and sophomore Oliver Berenbrocik each had a goal and an assist. Sophomore Sam Vilkin had a goal, and senior Brenden Rie and freshman Tyler Gaspin each had two assists. Goalkeeper Eamon Doran had 30 saves. 

 

Saturday, January 15

The wrestling team won its home match against Wayne Valley 54-24. Rotolo, Olivo, Morrissey, Bodnar, Digia, Rotolo, Olivo, Kim, and O’Neil all won their matches with a pin. 

The wrestling team won its home match against Lakeland 37-34. Sophomore Joseph Velasquez, Rossi, Digia, and Olivo won their matches with a pin. Freshman Ryan Sullivan and Olivo won their matches with a decision. Fowley won his match through forfeit. 

The boys basketball team won their Alezheimer’s Tournament game against Woodbridge 63-47. D’ercole had 25 points and junior Aidan Heaney had 16 points.

The ice hockey team lost its game against Pascack Valley 8-1. Joe Legato had the lone goal, assisted by Berenbroick and Gaspin. Goalkeeper Doran had 36 saves.
