We all look forward to opening up our big gifts Christmas morning, but nothing can beat the excitement of opening up your stocking. This Christmas season, Annie and I are here to help Santa give you the best stocking yet ;). 

5. Fuzzy socks

It is no surprise to find a pair of socks while opening up your stocking on Christmas morning. The creativity and excitement is simply just not there. Personally, finding fuzzy socks in my stocking is more of a disappointment than a feeling of excitement. The joy of opening stockings is ruined by the big fluffy socks that ultimately take up too much space. Stockings are supposed to be filled with fun gifts and little knick knacks, not boring old socks. Overall, fuzzy socks take the number 5 slot (let’s do better, Santa).

4. Gift cards

Coming in 4th place is the basic gift card. Every girl gets ecstatic about a gift card to one of their favorite stores, but do they ever get used? All of my gift cards end up in a junk drawer, just waiting to get used. Most of the time, I forget I even have a gift card and end up spending my own money. It’s too much hassle to carry around a million gift cards, and most of the time there are only a few dollars left to be used. If you ask me, gift cards are just not the best option for Christmas.

3. Laneige

A guaranteed gift that every girl will want in their stocking this year: Laneige Lip Mask. This Lip Mask is not only used as a lip treatment but as an everyday lipgloss. Coming in at number one is jewelry. There’s nothing more a girl could want on Christmas morning than a sparkling piece of brand new jewelry. With that being said, girls don’t want cheap jewelry that are found in clothing stores. We want the real deal. Items from Kendra Scott, Pandora, and Evry Jewels are the kind of brands we want to see in our stockings (take notes, Santa). These brands are good quality with much variety. Between necklaces, bracelets, or earrings jewelry is the perfect gift to improve your everyday look.
