Many people spend Halloween night watching horror movies or classic spooky specials after returning from hanging out with friends or trick or treating. However, these movies become repetitive and after years and years of replays. To change your Halloween up, spend Tuesday night cuddled up on the couch rooting for one of these teams.
Unfortunately, there are no NFL games to be played on October 31. Come Christmas day though, there are three games being streamed throughout the holiday, including a rivalry game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.
If you are really lacking some football this Halloween and are desperately looking for something to watch, there are two NCAA football games to be played at 7:00 and 7:30. The 7:00 matchup is between the Northern Illinois Huskies and the Central Michigan Chippewas.
The second NCAA football game of the night is between the Buffalo Bulls and the Toledo Rockets. Buffalo and Toledo have faced one another a total of 13 times, with 7 wins for Rockets, and 6 for the Bulls. However, each time these teams have met since 2018, Buffalo has won. If the Bulls win on Tuesday, the match up will be even with 7 wins each and they’ll tie the longest winning streak of 4 wins which the Rockets currently hold.
For those hockey fans out there, there are two NHL games to be played on Halloween. Starting at 8:00 is the LA Kings against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Kings currently have a record of (4-2-2) while the Maple Leafs hold a record of (5-2-1).
The second game that will be played is between the Nashville Predators and the Vancouver Canucks at 10:00. The Predators have a season record of (4-4-0) and the Canucks hold (5-2-1).
Continuing this stretch of hockey, the only college hockey game starts at 7:00–prior to either of the NHL games. The Sacred Heart Pioneers will face the Army Black Knights in Fairfield, Connecticut.
The only MLB game to be played is between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks in game 4 of the World Series and starts at around 8:00. The series began on Friday October 27 and is currently lead by the Rangers, 3-1. If the series goes to game 7, the final game will be played on Saturday, November 4, concluding the 2023 MLB season.
