  • Drew: I was feeling a little ballsy this year so said, “lezduit,” and my gut put 10-seed Penn State and 6-seed Kentucky in there. Penn State is on a hot streak right now, especially after their deep run in the Big 10 tournament, and I have that March Madness feeling that they will keep up the pace. On Kentucky, I like the mix of four-year seniors that work well together with a young NBA freshman that facilitates the ball, seen in Cason Wallace. This bracket is a real go big or go home, but regardless I feel as if Alabama has to win this year. The Noah Clownley – Brandon Miller combo is too lethal. It’s never too smart to over analyze in March Madness, so I’m going to leave it at that. I came in first two years ago though, so trust the process.

  • Antonio: I’m not falling for the traps: Purdue is fraudulent, so they’re exiting in the second round after they play Memphis, and everyone’s picking Charleston as their big upset, they’re just going with the mainstream picks. The real first round upsets will be Montana St over Kansas St, Oral Roberts over Duke, Louisiana over Tennessee, and VCU over St. Mary’s. Oral Roberts, NC State, Memphis, and VCU are the Cinderella teams of this year’s tourney, but no one can stop Kansas, they just have dawgs on their team. Other than Texas, which is tough or Alabama, who are respectfully good teams, no one can even compete with Kansas. With that said, this year’s Final Four will be Alabama versus Memphis, and Texas versus Kansas. The tourney will culminate with a Kansas repeat in a National Championship win over Bama.

  • Aidan: As a March Madness veteran I have made the best bracket in bracket history. I have made all of my choices based on the colleges I’ve been accepted into, and obviously made sure to root against the schools that rejected me. There is not too much thought into my bracket as it was completed in two minutes. My Final Four consists of some of the coolest jerseys in college basketball. If I win, I will have the record for the fastest winning bracket in the world. Bet on me to win!

  • Justin: After countless brackets since Selection Sunday, I’ve lost complete confidence in myself to make a good bracket and pick the conventional upsets like Charleston over SDSU. Instead, I’ve decided to be slightly conservative while also taking some unpopular Round of 64 upsets. I’ve done this with a lower risk, lower reward bracket that includes some of the blue bloods, and teams with experience going far. I’ve avoided some potential bracket breaking moves by not getting too carried away with upsets like Oral Roberts **cough cough, Antonio**. I’ve also attempted to restrain from letting my biases get in the way by only letting the Longhorns make the Elite Eight.

  • Kiran: The upsets are going to roll in this year in the first round. Everybody seems to be riding Furman,Charleston, and Oral Roberts but I’m not buying into the hype. Regardless, VCU will beat Saint Mary’s and Drake will beat Miami. I know Miami was one of the best teams in the ACC, but Drake is just too experienced for them. In the final four, UConn will be there, upsetting Kansas and UCLA on the way, along with Houston, Alabama, and Marquette. 1-seed Purdue will lose in the second round to Kendric Davis-led Memphis, allowing Marquette to reach the Final Four. In the championship game, the overpowering Houston defense will be too much for Alabama, even with superstar Brandon Miller, giving the Cougars the chip.
